Oweesta provides low interest loans to qualified Native Financial Institutions (NFI) and similar community development institutions that principally serve Native peoples.  Our loans help organizations create local entrepreneurs, homeowners and strong and vibrant Native economies.

ABOUT OUR LOAN PROGRAM

Investment Amount
Investments range from $50,000 to $250,000 depending on the type of institution and the market it serves.  Our investment in a single institution cannot exceed 10% of that institution’s total capital.

Terms
Range from 3 to 5 years.

Interest Rate
Risk-based and fixed for the term of the investment.  Ranges from 3-5%.
