Meeting the NEED:  Native Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Development Model

The Department of Treasury's CDFI Fund and Oweesta Corporation, along with partners CFED and ONABEN will introduce a new model for community economic development called NEED, or Native Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Development.  NEED is not just another entrepreneurship development curriculum.  Rather NEED is part of an overarching training and technical assistance program designed to assist Native communities identify the "ingredients" needed to develop entrepreneurs and enterprises and then provide them with a "recipe" for creating an effective enterprise/entrepreneurship development system.

Participants are responsible for all their own travel expenses, but the cost of the 3-day training is only $25 per participant.
